ACCOMODATION

The Hotel hospitality is very important in a Congress destination, and Florence offers a high number of hotels in different range to host delegates.
Florence is a city to be preserved with great care as patrimony of us all, and this has also meant to save its original structure: in the city centre most of the hotels are located within historical palaces that underwent elegant restoration to become very good hotels, but the majority of them have short numbers of rooms and it is therefore impossible to host large number of delegates or visitors under one roof.

One of the task of FOLLOW ME S.r.l. is to provide hotel allocation to all participants considering that the Congress Venue is not in the city centre that can be easily reached by bus (nr. 2, 14, 8, 20, 28) or taxi (about 20 min drive)

To the IMEKO participants we are pleased to offer:

- a modern and functional 4 stars hotel located close by the Congress Venue;

- several other hotels in the city centre (4, 3 and 2 stars hotels);

so please, in order to find the best solution for you, we are kindly asking to communicate in advance if you prefer to stay near the venue or downtown.
